High Score / Count-Up

Score the highest total.

High Score / Count-Up starts from scratch and rewards pure scoring. Each correctly potted dart increases the score, and the winner is determined after the last set round.

Players and teams
1–8 players; in a team game, the scores of team members are added up.
Number of rounds
3, 5, 8, 10 or 20. The classic soft-dart Count-Up often uses 8 rounds.
Score Bull
Steel: Outer Bull 25 and Inner Bull 50. Full Bull: both fields 50.
Legs and sets
The mode ends after the selected number of rounds and in the current application is not divided into legs or sets.

Scoring

  • Each player makes three throws per round. Single gives the value of the number, Double gives twice it, Triple gives three times it.
  • You can aim at any field. There is no mandatory entry, checkout or bust.
  • After the last player's turn, the next round begins.

Count‑Up and High Score

The mechanics of both names are the same: the score increases from zero. The name Count-Up is especially popular on soft-tip machines, where the standard is 8 rounds and Full Bull; High Score in the application allows you to freely choose the length and score of Bulla.

Victory and draw

After the last round, the highest score wins. In the event of a draw, the most transparent overtime is a full additional round of three darts for the tied players, repeated until the tie is decided.

Default settings

8 rounds and Bull 25/50 correspond well to the steel-tip disc. For soft-tip, select Full Bull if the local machine counts both fields by 50.
