Cricket / Tactics
Close the targets and score points.
Cricket and Tactics are games about closing fields. Instead of losing their score, players earn markers on specific targets and, depending on the variant, also points. The application combines the classic Cricket, Cut-Throat, No Score and extended Tactics in one mode.
Dostępne ustawienia gry
- Players and teams
- 2-8 players or teams. In a team game, the markers and score are shared by the team.
- Variant
- Standard, Cut‑Throat, No Score or Tactics. Each variant determines scoring and victory differently.
- Goals and Bull
- Cricket uses 15-20 and optional Bulla. Tactics expands the list to 10-20 and Bulla.
- Round limit
- You can play without limits or end the leg after a set number of rounds.
- Legs and sets
- One set of closed targets is a leg. In the application you can set the legs needed to win a set and the sets needed to win the match.
Tags and closing
- Single gives 1 token, Double gives 2, and Triple gives 3. Outer Bull gives 1 and Inner Bull gives 2 tokens.
- Three markers complete an objective for a player or team. Once a square is closed, excess markers can score immediately if the opponent still has the square open.
- Once everyone has closed a target, further hits on it yield neither markers nor points.
Scoring variants
- Standard - You score points in your own closed square until your opponent closes it. The first player with a complete set of locks and a score at least equal to the highest score of their rivals wins.
- Cut-Throat - excess points are awarded to opponents who did not close the target. The winner is the player with all the closures and a score no higher than his rivals.
- No Score - no points; all that matters is completing all your goals.
- Tactics - Works like scored Cricket, but covers 10-20 targets and Bull, so requires mastery of more of the shield.
The end of the leg and the limit of rounds
Without a limit, the leg ends immediately after the condition of a given variant is met. When the limit is reached, Standard and Tactics reward the highest score, Cut-Throat the lowest, and No Score the number of closed targets and then the total number of markers.
If the result remains undecided, the agreed extra time shall be applied; a practical variant is an additional round to Bulla for tied players.
Format recommended in the application
Default: Standard, Bull enabled, no round limit, 2 players, 2 legs to win and 1 set. In a set game, the next set resets the score to zero and the markers are lost, but retains the number of sets won.
